I see a ton of people saying this still holds up as a great action game or RPG - but man.
At Dark Eden I just cheated because I wanted to actually see where it all began, in game form, as I had always just started at Soul Reaver. With proper 8 degrees of movement of attack instead of 4, it would've helped melee a lot.Īlso I didn't find items too frequently despite being told they were handed out like candy. Man I wish Blood Omnicide had been finished. My issue was, about 6 hours in, I simply stopped having fun because of how often I was dying to inane bullshit or being hit by traps that clearly missed me. Now I've played all the Soulborne games beaten them, so difficulty isn't something I got an issue with. Enemies either either complete chumps or the most bullshit thing ever. You can be pinballed into a perma spiral of death. They're all great, as you'd expect of a Legacy of Kain title.īut the gameplay. I take no issue with the graphics, musics, voice acting, and story.
